The Original Bad Twin
Growing up, my only interests were in reading, watching TV, and flipping through People magazine. After college I headed to Los Angeles to work in the entertainment industry before segueing into social and digital media. That interest in storytelling feeds my view on social media.
My experience is varied: I’ve worked with Fortune 100 companies writing posts and overseeing major campaigns and sponsorships; helped small businesses figure out what their social should be and how to fit it into their schedule; consulted with animal non-profits teaching them the basics of social media.
But some things never change. In my spare time, I read books, watch TV, and flip through People magazine's Instagram Stories. And I’m one of those crazy cat ladies on Instagram. Follow me at @karenisthehuman.

At my first agency, I was described as "the digital equivalent of someone who knows how to work a room" and I still love this gig 12 years later.
Since then I've helped brands solve pivotal problems through story-centered digital campaigns. My expertise ranges from brand, social, and editorial strategy to audience research and insights.
In my spare time, I volunteer tutoring ESL (English as Second Language) and ABE (Adult Basic Education) learners. I also write, play around with my digital camera, and hang out with my dog.
Together we have 20 years of experience working with Fortune 100 and International companies; film, television, and streaming properties; healthcare companies; small businesses and startups; celebrities and micro-influencers. We’re creative problem solvers who love to take a mess and turn it into a plan.
